MMHIMA offers various educational opportunities by presenting
four to five seminars a year along with our annual meeting.

All persons interested in health information management are
invited to join MMHIMA. Membership terms are for one year, from
November 1 through October 31.
If you are a member of our national organization, AHIMA, you
automatically become a member of the state organization, MHIMA. We
are an affiliate of the state and our dues are separate.
All monies raised go to sponsor educational sessions for our
members.
Seminars will be announced as soon as possible. MMHIMA
members are charged a reduced rate for all seminars. We now offer a
newsletter which you can subscribe to. Simply go to the bottom
of our home page and fill in the newsletter request form. As part of our privacy policy you must subscribe to the
newsletter in order to receive it.

We, the Mid-Michigan Health Information Management Association, are a
regional organization. As such, we do not share in the dues collected by AHIMA.
Consequently, we charge our members a separate yearly dues of $20.00.
Students, however, are not required to pay dues if a membership application is
completed and submitted.
